This is Cady at 4 weeks. She is so strong! She had great neck control from birth and so by 4 weeks she is already rolling over and holding her head up.

Cady's Arrival

Cady arrived on Valentine's Day 2009 at 5:07pm. She was being very stubborn and content in the womb and wanted to stay put! I was induced for 2 days in the hospital, then pushed for 2 hours and still ended up with a C-section. It was all worth it once I saw her! This is our first picture as a new family

Finally ready for an update?

It has taken way too long for Cady's blog to be updated! I know, I know, I know!! So much has changed in the last 3 months! Cady continues to be as strong as a horse and learns and grows everyday. This week she started grabbing and pulling on Rebecca's hair and earrings. Rebecca does not find this as enjoyable as Cady and I do. Cady also enjoys laying on her activity mat and reaching out and pulling toys into her mouth. She is always chewing on her hands or toys, so I think her teeth are getting ready to come in. She stands constantly and can balance on her own while we hold her hands. Her favorite thing is being outside and feeling the wind. She coos and giggles every time she feels it. We walk in the mornings down to the water to enjoy the sights and sounds. The wind, birds, flowers and neighbors keep our morning walks exciting and ever changing.

Today we went shopping with grandma and Rebecca (Kecca). We went to a farmers market and bought some great local produce and free-range eggs. Then to Wal-Mart where we bought some birdseed to make pine cone bird feeders, so Cady can see the birds up close. We spend hours sitting on the back porch watching them. I will upload some pictures this week once we have finished.
